NEARSIGHTED BROAD

CHALLENGED Broad

Wish me well:

It is November, and as I have tried to do for a few years now, I am writing at a novel.  50,000 words in 30 days works out just all uneven.  It’s like pi and goes on into infinity if you don’t just say you’re through when time is called.

I haven’t done too well these past few times, what with one thing and then something else.  Medication troubles, depression, plain and simple sickness.  And then last year when I just got to hate the book because I couldn’t get it out of conversation after conversation (which I cannot write)

But this year I have faith, if not a lot of confidence.  So I am going to make things just a bit more challenging.  Along with 1667 words of prose a day, I’m answering the Writers’ Digest Poem-A-Day Chapbook challenge.

I’m expecting time to fly.

  1. A first time Nanoer, I’m right there with ya. I’m falling behind on everything, though. Yikes! enjoying your poetry. I find that going to people’s blogs is much easier than scrolling through the comments and reading, time wise. Thanks for including your link.

  2. “I have been” enjoying your poetry, lol. Don’t know where I lost three words. Must be the whole “don’t edit just write” mentality, eh?
